"This Is the Day" by Jacobus Gallus (Jacob Handl) is a fairly well known anthem for Easter Sunday frequently performed double choir. This setting simplifies the choral writing to a single SATB choir with the organ (or piano) and optional trumpet filling in Choir II. It makes a wonderfully festive addition to an Easter service with minimal musical forces.
