Product Description

Sweney was a 19th Century composer whose tune was borrowed by Fanny J. Crosby when she wrote "Victory through Grace" in 1890. After the brief introduction, the A section presents Sweney's theme. Section B goes to a different key and presents the second theme (by yours truly). Section C adds a descant to the second theme. Section D returns to the key of the first section and the first theme with a descant added there. The title is a Franco-Greek derivation of Κίνητρο which has to do with motivation.
