Product Description

Ottorino Respighi composed Gil Uccelli (The Birds) for small orchestra in 1931. This version for woodwind quintet is set by John Gibson. This is the prelude only. Respighi did not attempt to exactlly use bird sounds - with the exception of the cuckoo of course. He took music from the 17th century having to do wiith birds and re-set them as modern pieces. This would be for an advanced woodwind quintet. The parts are piccolo, flute, oboe, Bb clarinet (with an alternate A clarinet part), F Horn, and Bassoon.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
