Product Description

This is a string quartet (Violins 1 & 2, Viola, Cello) arrangement of one of Eric Clapton's biggest hits. This version in in the original key from his Derek and the Dominos' "Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs" CD. This is one of my favorite rock songs and is ranked in the Top 30 on Billboard's Rock Songs of All Time charts. This arrangement includes the guitar solo and piano solo. You may need some page turners with this arrangement as it includes the full version of the song. What I like about this arrangement is the during the guitar solo, Violin 1 plays the guitar solo, Violin 2 takes the guitar lead that is played during the chorus and background to the guitar lead, the Viola plays the lead that is found in the beginning of the song and the Cello plays the bass part. This makes the arrangement in this section very complicated in sound but not in performance. It builds naturally until you get to the piano solo section where it all joins together again. Duration=7:01. Visit my websites: https://jefftincher.wixsite.com/sheetmusic, https://jefftincher.wixsite.com/music, https://www.facebook.com/jefftinktincher.
