Charles Stanford arranged these six Irish folksongs for chorus in 1901. They are very well suited for a woodwind ensemble and here they are set for double reed quartet by John Gibson. The six pieces run about 9 minutes total. This setting is for 2 Oboes, English Horn, and Bassoon.
