Here is a unique trio arrangement (for two VIOLINS with PIANO accompaniment) of the ever-popular holiday classic "Jolly Old Saint Nicholas." This fun-to-learn VIOLIN duet arrangement is a welcome addition to the repertoire for beginning string students and suitable for recitals or just some family fun around the piano during the holiday season.

VIOLIN 1 plays the melody for the first verse and part of the second verse. Then VIOLIN 2 plays the melody while VIOLIN 1 adds broken-chord harmony. The first verse is flowing and legato in the key of C major, but then for the last verse, the PIANO promptly transitions to the key of A major and a more upbeat rhythm with staccato.

All notes for both VIOLIN parts are playable in the first position making this arrangement an excellent choice for early-intermediate string players. The PIANO accompaniment is written for an intermediate player. The purchase price includes a 6-page combined score (grand staff) with all three parts on each page (VIOLIN 1, VIOLIN 2, and PIANO) plus a separate 1-staff score for each VIOLIN part (1 page each).
