This original Scripture song based on Psalm 19 verses 1-4 is arranged as an instrumental trio (for FLUTE and/or VIOLIN Duet with PIANO Accompaniment). The FLUTE and VIOLIN alternate leading with the melody throughout beginning with the FLUTE on the first phrase. The PIANO accompaniment provides cascading eighth note runs creating a flowing harmony that alternates with bold, rhythmic chords on the more intense sections.
Though notated with FLUTE on part 1 and VIOLIN on part 2, the ranges are also accessible for other combinations of C instruments (2 violins, 2 flutes, etc.). The range for both parts is identical: E4 to A5 (the first E above middle C to the second A above). For the violin on either part, all notes are playable in the first position making this piece an excellent choice for early intermediate string players. Duration 2:45.
The purchase price includes these printing options: 1. a grand staff (11 pages) with all parts on each page
2. separate scores for the FLUTE and VIOLIN (2 pages each) and PIANO (4 pages)
3. a combined FLUTE and VIOLIN score (4 pages)
To enhance the presentation of this song, a slide show featuring stars and space overlaid with the scripture verse could be displayed during the performance. The lyrics were adapted from the World English Bible (WEB) and are printed below:
Lyrics:The heavens declare the glory of God.The skies proclaim his handiwork.Day after day they pour out their speech,And night after night Gods knowledge is displayed. There is no speech, nor is there a language where their voice is not heard.Their voice has gone out through all of the earth,Their words to the end of the world.
