In Zechariah's prophecy predicting the coming Messiah, we are told that this is indeed Good News and a time for singing and rejoicing (Zechariah 2:10). Inspired by the prophecies of Zechariah and Isaiah, the lyrics recount the many reasons for singing and rejoicing as we celebrate the birth of Jesus.

Arranged in the key of C major for a SATB quartet, the vocal ranges are as follows (C4=middle C): Soprano--C4 to C5; Alto--G3 to B4; Tenor--E3 to E4; Bass/Baritone--B2 to B3. The tune is upbeat and easy-to-learn. The flowing piano accompaniment adds a classical-like 5th harmony. Duration 2:30.
