Product Description

Based on Psalm 92 verses 1-5, the words of this Scripture Song give praise to God for all he has done for us. Many believe this Psalm was written specifically to be sung on the Sabbath Day thus the title given by the Psalmist and included in most translations of the Bible. This song is formatted as a vocal duet with piano accompaniment (3-staff piano-vocal score).

Though the piece is written for voice it also makes a beautiful instrumental piece when played by two violins. Set in the key of F major, the melody range is from the D above middle C to the second D above and the harmony range is from B-flat below middle C to the A above. For the violin, all notes can be played in the first position on the G, D, and A strings making this an excellent selection for beginning violin students.

The purchase price includes the 4-page full score plus a 2-page duet part. This song is also available as one of the 10 songs in the collection titled "Sing the Psalms" where each song is arranged using the standard two-staff format instead of the piano-vocal score of this duet arrangement.
