This dual keyboard arrangement expands the familiar folk hymn "Im Just a Poor Wayfaring Stranger" into a tranquil 3-3/4 minute instrumental piece. Composed of flowing arpeggios to complement the plaintive melody, this instrumental piece is especially appropriate for the meditative portion of a worship service, though also fitting as a prelude, an offertory, or special music.

This duet sounds equally pleasing whether played on two acoustic pianos or played on two keyboards with unique sounds. Though classified as "intermediate," only the Keyboard I part is this level of difficulty with an abundance of 16th note runs and arpeggios; the Keyboard II part is more accurately classified as "easy."
