Written in 1964, this song was originally recorded by country singer Roger Miller. The cool, laid-back feel has made it popular for other musicians to cover, probably the most popular of whom was The Proclaimers. It it has been used on adverts as well.

This arrangement features the 'cello (acting as a String Bass) and provides optional opportunity for improvising around the chords. It also has room for clicks, claps and a tambourine!
