Product Description

Thomas Morley was one of the most well-known English composers of madrigals during the Renaissance. His music is still widely performed by singers today. It is assumed that he studied music and/or sung under the direction of William Byrd. Morley's madrigal compositions stand out from other Renaissance pieces because of their lighter tone and quicker tempos.

This madrigal was published in 1593 as part of a collection of 3-part "little, short songs".

Scored for 2 Trumpets, French Horn, Trombone, and Tuba. This is a great "in between" piece for recitals, as it's not a showstopper, although pleasant to the ear, and it won't take a lot of rehearsal time.

Duration: 1.75 minutes
