Product Description

I. (Fantastico molto)
II. (Lento expressivo)
III. (Presto flessibile)

These preludes take their notational inspiration for the unmeasured preludes of the French 17th century clavencist tradition, particularly those of Louis Couperin (C. 1626-1661), who is credited with having invented the genre.  Though all pithces are precisely specified, many aspects of coordination, duration and phrasing are left entirely to the performer.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
