Product Description

An arrangement for flute and four basset horns (or flute, three basset horns and bass clarinet) of the short song "The Night has a Thousand Eyes" by American composer Ethelbert W. Nevin (1862-1901). The piece was originally scored for mixed voices (SATB) with violin obligato, the text being a poem by Francis William Bourdillon. This arrangement, with its unusual instrumentation, allows the flute to float over the warm sound of the basset horns. Full score and parts, including an alternative part for bass clarinet instead of basset horn 4. Difficulty level : Easy/Intermediate.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
