This is a piano solo arrangement of the Christian hymn, The Lord's My Shepherd. The text is based on the 1650 Scottish Psalter with the melody (Crimond) attributed to Jessie S. Irvine (1879).

This piano solo (beginning in F major) captures the pastoral nature of the popular hymn beginning with an originally-written expressive introductory melody with chordal accompaniment much like what you would envision chamber strings playing. I have arranged this piano solo to include three verses, the last of which modulates to G major. This final verse is rich in texture, full harmonies and a sense of grandeur.
