Product Description

The Fächer-Polonaise (Fan Polonaise) by Carl Michael Ziehrer is one of his best known pieces and was composed in 1906. For decades it has been the opening piece at the famous Vienna Opera Ball every year during carnival time. On many other balls around the world this piece is chosen, when the ball is to be started with a polonaise. The arrangement is one half tone higher than the original key for symphony orchestra and was first time performed by the Municipal Band of Zirl, Tyrol, Austria conducted by Albert Schwarzmann on 28 November 2015.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
