Product Description

This well-loved staple of unaccompanied choral repertoire was composed in 1869 for the dedication of a chapel at the New Cathedral in Linz, Austria, where Bruckner had been an organist. "Locus iste a Deo factus est", translates to "This place was made by God". The arrangement has been transposed down a whole tone and reduced to three parts (from four) to allow it to be more easily sung by amateur choirs (with lower soprano ranges and limited number of men).

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
