I composed thie piece between June and October of 2012. It's a rondo depicting the moon. The first part is a tune depicting the serenity of the moon at night. But the moon can be a harsh place, so it is followed by a tense section. This transitoins to the original theme. The C section is a massive piece in 4/4 time depicting the wild energy of the moon. It has two sections, each with two contrasting regions. The second section has a beautiful symphonic like tune. Finally the B section returns as a bright energetic tune, which is an answer to the tense B section. It then transitions to the original tune via a ritenuto. It all ends with a lenghty coda.
