On Jordan's Stormy Banks is an African American folk hymn and also known as the Promised Land. Published with lyrics in the 19th-century, it became immediately popular and is often performed today. This arrangement is an Easy Intermediate String Trio for two violins and cello. The second violin part is also accessible for the viola. A separate sheet is provided for each instrument. This arrangement is suitable for any worship service or program as well as funeral or memorial services.
