Product Description

A Musical Glimpse tells the story of the brief glimpses of creativity we experience during our daily interactions. These interactions are only recently returning as we come of out of our pandemic isolation. There are three main sections in the composition. The first section is in G minor and features energetic sixteenth note figures and dramatic trombone glissandi. The B section has an atonal key signature and features dramatic piccolo trumpet solos interspersed with descending waves of sound played by the whole ensemble. There is a brief reprise of the A section at the end. While all our daily interactions are unique, they all follow similar patterns. May this composition recreate some of the joy and sense of community felt daily.
