Mottetto a 4 voci del compositore della Scuola Romana Fabio Costantini.
Fabio Costantini fu un prolifico rappresentante della polifonia romana del primo '600. Allievo di Palestrina in San Pietro, fu maestro di cappella in molte chiese e cattedrali, da Roma a Orvieto, da Loreto ad Ancona, da Ferrara a Tivoli.

A 4-voices motet, sung as antiphone to the Magnificat for the feast of the Purification, by Fabio Costantini, one of the many Palestrina's young cantors in St.Peter's cathedral and later maestro di cappella in many different churches, mainly in Orvieto's cathedral.
