Product Description

La Campanella (Italian for The Little Bell) was originally written in 1826 as apart of the third movement of Niccolo Paganinis Violin Concerto No. 2. The melody was adapted by Franz Liszt as the third of six etudes dedicated for Paganini written in 1838 and revised in 1851, of which the 1851 revision is the more known version. This arrangement is a true test of the wind band, featuring unconventional harmonic minor runs, multi-octave chromatic runs, and a large range of dynamic contrast throughout the piece.
