If your flute choir seeks a piece that's both challenging and fun, this ragtime fantasy will give them some devilish licks to wrestle with! Arranged for four C flutes (one doubling piccolo), two altos, one bass, and one contrabass (which can be played as Bass 2 if you don't have a contra).

This arrangement includes percussive techniques, including foot stamps, wind tones, and ch-ch-ch sounds. Wind tones can be played by tonguing into the embouchure hole, rather than across it; the sound should be airy and percussive, not melodic. See the YouTube video for examples.
