SLOW MOVEMENT from the VIVALDI CONCERTO FOR 2 MANDOLINS - for GUITAR TRIO

Derek Hasted writes "Famous, in particular, for its delightful Slow Movement, the whole Vivaldi Concerto for 2 Mandolins is a musical gem.

But it's the accessible and charming second movement that audiences know and love.

My arrangement is suitable for a trio (or large ensemble) that is somewhere between early intermediate and intermediate ability.

The two mandolin parts are single line melody, and Guitar 3 has some well-known chord shapes to provide the support for the melodies.

Note that the whole Concerto is also on sale separately as a Guitar Quartet, suitable for advanced players. To find it, follow the link below to my website and look for my page of quartets.

I hope you enjoy playing this piece!"

This is one of a large and growing range of accessible ensembles from experienced arranger Derek Hasted, and is supplied as full score and parts. Derek's website at www.derek-hasted.co.uk/smp lists all his arrangements by title and by "number of instruments", with links to soundclips and sample score.
