Unity" focuses on the keys of G and E minor. G for geo, the scientific term for Earth and E for Earth. The music depicts an inward reflection into our most deep thoughts and desires while bringing lyrical undertones, showing our continuous and waving thoughts. The musical effect of tears can be heard on the piano, cascading and multiplying as tears run down one's face to the ground from fear. The optional divisi helps support the top soprano part when they reach a high G in the piece. The individual parts intertwine, symbolizing our need for unity. It concludes with all parts ending on the tonic, emphasizing unity.
