Product Description

Barwick Green, composed in 1924 by Arthur Wood, has been used as the theme to the long-running BBC Radio soap opera "The Archers" - originally "the everyday story of country folk" now "a contemporary drama in a rural setting".

The music is taken from Wood's suite for orchestra "My Native Heath" and is subtitled 'A Maypole Dance'

This arrangement for Woodwind Quintet is based on the original score rather than the edited version used for 'The Archers'

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
