Product Description

The Grenadier and the Lady is a traditional English piece in A minor with a waltz-like feel. This arrangement is written for 4 or more lever harp or pedal harp players. Each part is a different level of difficulty and can be doubled by as many players as needed. The piece has no lever changes; parts include some fingering suggestions and some chord symbols.

This arrangements includes: Score and parts as described below.

Harp 1: Advanced. Includes two-handed arpeggios, material in the high register, some hands together, and some fast melodic sections.
Lowest note: E an octave and a half below middle C.

Harp 2: Late Intermediate. Includes simple two-handed arpeggios, melodic material in a low register, and some hands together. Lowest note: E an octave and a half below middle C.

Harp 3: Early Intermediate. Includes melodic sections, some tapping on the soundboard, and triad arpeggios.
Lowest note: G an octave and a half below middle C.

Harp 4: Beginner. Includes single notes and melody.
Lowest note: E below middle C.

Reduction: Advanced. This reduction is included for the teacher who may wish to play along with students during lessons. This reduction does not include every note from the score, but attempts to convey the essentials for rehearsal purposes.
