Product Description

In order to seek some respite from his disastrous marriage, Tchaikovsky went on holiday to Rome with his brother Modest. The street music and folk songs that he heard there provided the inspiration for Capriccio Italien which he composed in 1880. This theme is typical of the lively nature of much of the rest of this Italian fantasy.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
