This arrangement follows Rihanna's original track very closely, with the violins taking turns at her higher register melismatic vocal lines and the viola taking the lower register vocals. The cello maintains the electric bass line with the viola focused primarily on the synth's arpeggiated figures (which remind one of those in "Unchained Melody.") I've maintained the key of the original and this arrangement is very accessible, although the natural improvisatory style of Rihanna's vocals leads to some tricky rhythms. Rehearsal letters, measure numbers and bowings are provided for ease of sight-reading at gigs and other performances.
