Product Description

This holiday duo for F horn and trombone is based on the hymn tune Besançon, a traditional French carol named for a town in Northeastern France, near where it probably originated. It was first sung as a Christmas carol to the anonymous text Shepherds, shake off your drowsy sleep, but is best known today for setting the 1928 Advent text People, Look East by English writer Eleanor Farjeon (1881-1965). The trombone part can also be played by euphonium, bassoon, cello, or--with the included alternate Bb treble part--tenor sax or baritone TC. Grade 3 - Duration 1:30

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
