Featuring a traditional pop-piano-accompaniment, that develops into its own independent voice alongside the melodically oriented Clarinet- and Viola-parts, this "song without words" forms the emotional (and structural) centrepiece of the "Paranormania"-Trio, providing with its emotional depth and heaviness a stark contrast to the other, more lighthearted scenes.
