The original key of the piece was B major, though most of the published versions were in C major or B flat major. I believe that was done because the B major version presents issues relative to some nasty double sharps and a couple of other oddities that makes playing the piece a struggle. To that end, I have provided a version in the original key, but also one in the much more attainable key of C major.
