Product Description

This arrangement of Silent Night for viola solo was written for the 200th anniversary of Silent Night. Set for a level 4 violist. Some shifting is needed for a couple measures, or a 4th finger extension. The bow stroke throughout is legato. The Irish tune Donegal Mazurka is woven into this arrangement. Legend or history, you can decide. But the tale is told that the organ was broken for the Christmas Eve service in Arsdorf Germany in 1818. I have added guitar chords so that this can be played with viola and guitar, or viola and piano. This is a perfect arrangement for you Christmas Eve service, family gathering, or a Christmas recital.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
