Beginning in 2010, according to the Curator of the Normandy France Museum, a CD of the work is played each June 6th in honor of D-Day. On December 28, 2018, Governor Andrew Cuomo signed into law a bill making "Here Rests in Honored Glory" the Official New York State Hymn of Remembrance for all American Veterans.
