Product Description

This was originally a keyboard composition from The Well-Tempered Clavier, which was written by Johann Sebastian Bach in 1722. The piece consists mostly of broken chords (arpeggios). This harmonic outline, however, is the accompaniment that Charles Gounod used when in 1853 he added his famous "Ave Maria" melody line above the chords. In this String Trio arrangement, those arpeggios are split between the string instruments for the seamless chordal outline.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
