Product Description

Here is an intermediate PIANO DUET (for 1 Piano, 4 Hands) of the familiar hymn "Take Time to Be Holy" by George C. Stebbins. This gently flowing arrangement will encourage reflection as the listeners are reminded of the lyrics penned by William D. Longstaff: "Take time to be holy, speak oft with thy Lord; Abide in Him always, and feed on His Word. Make friends of Gods children, help those who are weak, Forgetting in nothing His blessing to seek."

Both parts carry the melody at times making it fun and equally challenging for both players while adding variety for the listeners. The PRIMO plays the melody for the first verse and then the PRIMO and the SECONDO alternate leading with the melody for the second verse.

The purchase price includes a 6-page score with combined PRIMO and SECONDO parts on each page (Grand Staff) plus an alternate format with the PRIMO and SECONDO on separate pages (3 pages each).

This arrangement is one of the 5 hymns in the collection "Piano Duets: Hymns for Worship, Book 1."
