Arranged for the Utah Tech 2023 "Roar of the Red Rocks" Marching Band, "Welcome Home" is a showcase of the performing and composition talents of multiple musicians within the Utah Tech University music department. As part of the 2022 collaboration album with the same name, "Welcome Home" is one of many self-published albums by the excellent and driven students at Utah Tech.

Originally a folk-style acoustic piece, the track was later arranged into the marching band arrangement it is today in celebration of Utah Tech's 112th annual homecoming. The arrangement debuted in the "Roar of the Red Rocks" first performed live fieldshow in 2023.
