This original setting of the Farewell text from Gibran's "The Prophet" is a solo I composed for piano and voice to be sung at the memorial service of Eugine Bonham. He and his wife were dedicated to music and I thought the text was a wonderful tribute to both of them who were life long musicians and teachers. The vocal part is not always doubled in the piano so it would require an experienced vocalist (mezzo soprano) who can read/perform at an advanced level.
