Product Description

This collection contains five (5) sacred hymns arranged for a STRING QUARTET. These arrangements are straight-forward and suitable for late beginner to intermediate string groups since all notes for all instruments can be played in the first position. An optional repeat is provided for each song in case a longer selection is desired. The audio sample plays one verse of "Jesus, Lover of My Soul" and the YouTube video features "Wayfaring Stranger."

The VIOLIN 3 part is the same as the VIOLA part in case a Viola player is not available. Violin 1 carries the melody throughout each song. For each of the five songs in this collection there is a 3-page grand staff score plus a 1-page, 1-staff score for each part (VIOLIN 1, VIOLIN 2, VIOLIN 3, VIOLA, and CELLO).

Each string quartet arrangement is also available separately with accompanying preview pages and audio samples.
