Product Description

Granada is a famous song in Spanish written in 1932 by the Mexican composer Agustín Lara. The first interpretation was that of the Mexican tenor Pedro Vargas, nicknamed the "Tenor of the Americas".

Several adaptations of the piece, later interpreted by numerous other singers, have been made in the most varied musical styles and in various languages.

The text speaks of the Andalusian city of Granada , described as "the land of my dreams" ( tierra soñada por mí ), with its bulls and beautiful women.

I hope this brass quintet and percussion rendition will be enjoyed and is accessible to most quintets.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
