Product Description

The text for this lovely Swedish hymn was written by Carolina Sandell Berg, also known as the "Fanny Crosby of Sweden.  She was the daughter of a Lutheran pastor and wrote the text for this and some 650 others to cope with the drowning of her father to whom she was very close.  The words offer comfort in the storm of darkness and that "day by day" the Lord will give us strength until we reach the promised land.

Follow the first verse:
Day by day and with each passing moment,
Strength I find to meet my trials here;
Trusting in my Father's wise bestowment,
I've no cause for worry or for fear.

He whose heart is kind beyond all measure
Gives unto each day what He dreams best.
Lovingly, its part of pain and pleasure,
Mingling toil with peace and rest.
