Product Description

This Credo begins with the usual Gregorian incipit, but the rest of the text departs from the norm. The text (I believe in one God, and no more) is a non-trinitarian, very humanist one, from Thomas Paines The Age of Reason (1793). It forms one of the movements of my Requiem, composed in 1994 (revised 95).
