The original version of this emigrant song is quite simple: same melody repeats throughout the song. More, the existing vocal arrangements I've heard are quite steady and not so rhythmic.

So I tried to add some movement: there is a "musical" introduction with little lyrics and then we move on to the main theme, where the bass gives rhythm to the main melody.

Shortly after, with a Queen-inspired variation coming from Bohemian Rhapsody the score modulates in a close key, to underline the singing of the "brothers" of the song's sad heroin and immediately after the theme softens to leave room to the sad mother heralding the coming tragedy.

A tragedy that is sung immediately afterwards, in minor, and then returns to the main melody until the finale, where after a choral phrase we return to the main theme.
