Product Description

The 16th century tune "Es ist ein Ros entsprungen" is popular at Christmas, known as "Lo, how a rose e'er blooming", "A great and mighty wonder", and other texts.  This arrangement is another written to feature a younger instrumentalist in your Christmas services.  Parts for trombone, baritone, and trumpet are included, and other instrument transpotitions can be arranged by contacting the composer.  I've used the feeling of "A great and mighty wonder" for this, since a faster tempo normally works better for a young musician.  An experieced played can easily handle this as a slower tempo, reminiscent of "Lo, how a rose e'er blooming".  There are three other suites with traditional hymns and original works, under the titles of 2020, 2021, and 2022 Suites for Trombone and Organ.  I hope you will give some younger players the chance to shine!
