Product Description

Mountain was a 19th Century pastor, author, and musician from England. Havergal was a 19th Century hymnist from England as well. The hymn is based on a tune called "Wye Valley" which is welsh and an area in Wales. Sections A and C are the verse. Sections B and D are the chorus. At the end of section B, a modulation to a new key occurs with the aid of an Italian augmented sixth chord. A descant by yours truly is then added.
