Bjorck notes that, when he created this piece, he visualized an antique music box which--when played--would evoke nostalgic memories of a loving Grandmother playing the box for her grandchildren. The melody is reminiscent of old music box tunes, and it fades slowly as the piece ends, suggesting that the listener leaves the lid open so the echoes and memories can continue on in the listeners heart.
