Originally included in the "Postludes, Vol I" set by the same composer, this has become an often-requested piece to perform in concerts and in church services alike. This "firey" piece sounds much more difficult than it actually is to play, so basically less work and more reward! Written in the French toccata style of the Romantic period, this piece is sure to excite and energize audiences anywhere (as it already has done so in organ concerts around the world)!

Funny fact: this piece was once announced in an organ program before it was played, and someone in the audience misheard it as the "Wildflower" Toccata, soon becoming very confused when it did not sound like beautiful wildflowers in any way. Needless to say, after the concert they had to ask the performer for clarification that it was indeed meant to be the "Wildfire" Toccata.
