This is arrangement of a Baroque tune originally written for the Baroque guitar. It comes from the Codex Saldivar which is a Baroque manuscript found in Mexico in 1943. I have added two parts that can be played by any melody instrument. I wrote it for violin, recorder and guitar but it also works with two violins or two flutes and guitar. It is a very suitable arrangement to play with students. The guitar also has a solo moment where the guitarist can shine and play a beautiful melody. The melody instruments have Baroque inspired passages in eight notes as well as melodies that support the harmony. The PDF includes seperate parts. I hope you enjoy playing this trascription.
