Product Description

The second of eight volumes in the Violin Collections series pupils' books. After enjoying open strings, bowed and or pizzicato the Zoo and Quaviary collections introduce notes using the first finger and quavers. Students, if interested can enjoy colouring the drawings showing where the quavers (eighth notes) live, either in an open hut (open strings), or one with a closed roof (stopped notes)

The accompaniment book is available separately and includes parts for a violinist, the teacher or mature player and keyboard.

Collections will be available for Violin, Viola, Cello and Double Bass. All can play and learn together and the books can be used for ensembles and for sight reading.

Learning topics are included at the beginning of each Collection. It is possible to buy the collections in eight volumes, one whole volume, 76 pieces or split into two parts.
