Some Nights was a 2012 hit which was awarded an IMA (Independent Music Award). It features an a capella introduction with relatively simple harmonic and melodic content that followed. A great karaoke song, and now for the marching band. It stays true to the original for much of it, but brings interest to the audience through a key change, and instrumentation that features the low brass. A great arrangement for a high school or college marching band. Perfect as a stand tune as well!
